Braun Pt

This home in Braun Pt point was referred to us by one of our real estate agent partners. The Seller had owned this home as a rental for quite some time. When the tenants moved out, she was ready to sell. Unfortunately, a lot of repairs were needed to get the home market ready.

The Seller lived out of state and decided against attempting to do repairs from out of town. Her realtor contacted us, we negotiated a fair price, and closer 7 days later!

Schertz

We bought this rental property in Schertz from a repeat customer. The Sellers are retiring and moving to a new home. They decided to sell a few rental properties, and after some research, they chose Alamo City Housebuyer. We closed on the property 10 days after signing the contract.

I-10 and Culebra

This home in the I-10 and Culebra area was a tricky one. There were title issues that were over 30 years in the making. The Seller had tried to sell the house multiple other times, but no other homebuyer had been able to deliver. The home had been in the Seller’s family for decades.

The Seller’s mother inherited the house from her parents and left the house to our Seller in her will. However, the mother remarried in the mid 70s, and added the stepfather to the deed. At some point, the stepfather left; he eventually passed away in the 80s. The title to the house was never changed. This left 30 years of heirs over multiple states that needed to be discovered or tracked down to clear the title. We signed a contract with the Seller and helped her hire an attorney to begin work to clear the title. It was a very long road, but after 11 months, we succeeded in clearing the title and closing on the property.

Misty Oaks

The Seller of this home in Misty Oaks was a family man who worked 2 months at a time in oil fields overseas. He had recently been promoted and now would be gone from his family for up to 6 months at a time. They decided to sell and move out of town, closer to extended family. The Seller had 18 days before he had to return to work. He wanted a fast, reputable buyer that paid a fair price. We came to an agreement and closed on the sale in 7 days!

Denver Heights

This home is Denver Heights that we purchased near the end of 2019 was the most gratifying deal we’ve ever done. The owner was a fiery 96 year old woman who had lived in the house for nearly 60 years. The home was originally owned by her uncle, who passed away almost 40 years ago without a will.

Unfortunately the title was never changed into our Seller’s name, even though she had been living there and paying the taxes since before her uncle’s passing. She rarely trusted anybody, but she chose us to fight the uphill battle for her to get the title cleared. Over the next 8 months we attended court hearings, paid legal bills, brought her sodas every week, and became good friends. Her day finally came when the judge granted her legal title and ownership of the home!

Hillcrest

The seller was a realtor, but did not want the hassle or stresses that may come with a traditional sale. She also wanted a leaseback. She did her due diligence on local investor buyers and ultimately chose us because of our reputation and the terms we offered.

Northwest San Antonio

We bought this northwest side home from a family that needed flexibility to make their dream of buying a new home come true. We agreed to a fair price and that the family would choose the closing date once they found their new house. A month later, the family had their dream house under contract. We closed and gave them a free 60 day leaseback so they had funds to buy their new house and plenty of time to close and move.

East San Antonio

This is a cute little fixer upper we recently bought in the near east side neighborhood. That area is up and coming and is close to downtown. The house was inherited by brothers and sisters who had grown up in the house. The house needed some work, but they were able to rent it out to another small family.

Unfortunately, the tenants did not take care of the property. They had multiple animals and quit paying rent near the end of their lease. The house was left in terrible shape. We met with the owner and explained our no-nonsense way of doing business. They accepted our offer to buy the property and we closed on the sale 8 days later.

Vista View

The Seller of this 2 bedroom, 2 bath home in Vista View had moved into assisted living and left the home vacant for a few months. Her children took on the duties of selling the house and decided to contact cash buyers. Alamo City Housebuyer presented the family with the offer they liked the best and closed on the property in less than 10 days after the contract was signed.

High Country

This home in High Country had been owned by the Seller and his family for 17 years. The family had moved out of the home and had been renting it out. When they decided to sell, they weighed their options: for sale by owner, hire a realtor, or sell to an investor buyer. Ultimately, they chose Alamo City Housebuyer due to the convenience of a simple, quick closing with no real estate commissions or closing costs.

East Terrell Hills

The Seller of this home in East Terrell Hills had purchased it for investment 5 years ago. She moved out of town and no longer wanted the headache of renting and managing the property. Her daughter contacted multiple home buyers. They went under contract with another buyer, but that buyer did not close. They reached back out to Alamo City Housebuyer because they liked how honest and straightforward we do business.

Universal City

This 4-bedroom home in Universal City needed a lot of work and was bought by a family who planned to renovate it while they lived there. After 5 years, they decided the project was too big of an undertaking. They had found a new home and needed to sell this one quickly.

Stablewood Farms

The Seller of this home in Stablewood Farms was moving into a nursing home. She needed money and time to move. Alamo City Housebuyer gave her a fair price, the closing date of her choice, and a free 30-day lease after the closing.
